Who we are

A bit of history

Almendrola was founded in 1964 by the company Viar, specialising in high quality artisan nougat, with the best selection of raw materials such as almonds. Later, the brand was taken over by Liquats Vegetals. Since then we have been focussing all our efforts on producing the best almond drink, designed for those who love the taste of a lifetime.

That is why we decided to settle in the Montseny Natural Park, a unique place with excellent quality water, which is one of our most important raw materials.

Almendrola is a drink that has been passed down from generation to generation, with a range designed for everyone: from those who are looking for the same old flavour to those who want to try something new and different.

NATURAL ENVIRONMENT

We are in Montseny, a privileged environment, surrounded by flora and fauna. Montseny was named Natural Park of Catalonia in 1977 and since 1978 it has been declared a Unesco nature reserve of more than 30,000 hectares. It has been declared a Biosphere Reserve.
